DANA-DANA ( daya-dayango wawu na’o-na’o : berlenggang sambil berjalan ), tarian ini semula ditarikan 2-4 lelaki, tapi kini lelaki berpasangan dengan perempuan sampai 5-6 pasang. Tari ini ditampilkan saat syukuran panen, upacara daur hidup ( pernikahan, sunatan, pembaiatan ), naik rumah baru, perayaan hari besar nasional dan Islam.

Nama tari yang unik dan mudah diingat ini mewarnai kehidupan warga Gorontalo sejak lahir, disunat hingga berumah tangga. Adat istiadat apalagi dari Gorontalo yang bisa memikat anda ? Ini dia.

* LENINGO, puisi bersajak 4 baris dalam tiap bait, berisi pepatah / ungkapan yang bisa dijadikan pedoman berperilaku di Gorontalo. Bait Leningo didominasi petuah suatu saat akan meninggalkan dunia fana, untuk menyadarkan para pendengarnya.

* MOLO’OPU ( memangku ), upacara adat menjemput pejabat yang baru dilantik dari rumah pribadi untuk menempati rumah dinasnya.

* TIDI DA’A, tari klasik Gorontalo yang ditarikan calon pengantin putri sebagai ucapan permohonan maaf pada kedua orangtua atas segala kesalahan dan kelakuan sejak dalam kandungan, sampai akhirnya akan menikah.

* TIDI LO MALU’O, tari klasik Gorontalo yang menasehati nasihat remaja putri agar rajin bekerja dan beribadah.

* BURUDA GORONTALO, 18 judul syair yang dipengaruhi budaya Islam dari Persia, yang diciptakan Burdah ketika terbangun sembuh dari penyakit darah tingginya setelah bermimpi.

* BILI’U, busana adat kebesaran ratu atau permaisuri Raja. Bili’u dari kata Biluato ( diangkat atau dinobatkan ), karena dipakai putri mahkota yang diangkat menjadi ratu ( bahasa Gorontalo : Ti Mbui Biluato ).

* TAHUDA, petuah adat Gorontalo yang dibacakan saat prosesi adat pemberian Pulanga / gelar adat dari Dewan Adat Gorontalo bersama Lembaga Adat 5 Kerajaan pada putra terbaik bangsa yang masih hidup.

*  TIDI  LO  TIHU’O, tari dengan manik yang dirangkai menjadi rantai. Tihu’o adalah rangkaian  manik berwarna adat lianggo ( merah, kuning, hijau, ungu ). Putri bangsawan mengenakan bili’u dengan huwo’o ( rambut yang dilambangkan dengan kotak perak bersepuh emas lima susun ) yang akan diberikan untuk pengantin perempuan.
